Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The Merriment website and web store are offered to all users only upon acceptance of all Terms of Service and policies stated herein and elsewhere throughout this website via hyperlink. By accessing and/or ordering from the Merriment website you engage in and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, you may not use and/or access this website. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. 

All deliveries, services and information provided shall be performed according to Merriment’s terms and conditions. Unless an authorized Merriment representative has explicitly agreed to the validity of the terms and conditions in writing, no provisions which conflict or deviate from our terms and conditions will be recognized or honored.

Purchases
The Merriment web store aims to provide high quality items for home and body to you, the consumer. Purchases made on this website are for personal or gift use of the purchaser only. Re-sale, commercial purposes, or any other commercial benefit is prohibited. Additionally, no Merriment products may be used for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

We reserve the right not to accept your order if we are unable to obtain authorization for your payment. We also reserve the right to refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We strive to keep your orders as well as payments as secure as we can, however, in the case of third party unauthorized access to any customer data, we will not be held responsible for any loss on your side. 

Returns

Our aim to surprise and delight!  However, if for some reason you are unhappy with your Merriment purchase, please email info@homeatmerriment.com within 3 days of receiving your delivery to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. After that date, sales become final.  Please do not ship an order back to us without an RA number.

Once you have received your RA number, you are responsible for carefully packaging and paying for shipping to return order back to Merriment with the RA number clearly indicated on the outside of the package. Additionally, we cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost or damaged on their way back to us, please consider getting a tracking number for that return shipment.

Return shipping costs will be incurred by the customer. However, if the return is due to our error, we will happily pay the return shipping costs and process a full refund. If your item arrives damaged from shipping, please send photos of the damaged item as well as the packaging it arrived in.  If either of these scenarios has happened, please contact us immediately so arrangements can be made.

We reserve the right to refuse any merchandise that does not meet our return policy guidelines. We cannot authorize a return if more than 7 days have gone by since the delivery of your order. Refunds will only be made to the original credit card used for purchase, and will be done once the item has been returned to Merriment and checked in free of damage. 

All sale items are a FINAL SALE, no returns or exchanges are available on final sale items. Additionally, international orders and items purchased with store credit are final sale and ineligible for a refund/return.

Prices
The prices in the Merriment web shop are listed in US Dollars. However, shipping costs are not included in the price, but calculated as an extra flat-rate charge upon checkout. Sales tax will also be incurred as mandated. All item prices are subject to change at any time. 

Colors
Please, note that we make every effort to render product information and colors accurately. However, due to the various displays and color capabilities of computer monitors, the color and/or representation might not be exactly the same as the actual item. We cannot be responsible for the color accuracy of your computer monitor. Items such as fabrics and woods inherently have coloration variances in dye-lots and species which can range as much as 20% per color. 

Liability
You agree that Merriment shall be held harmless and shall not be liable for any damage, loss or expense due in full or in part arising out of or resulting from using the Merriment website or purchasing from the Merriment web store. In no event shall Merriment be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in any way related to the Merriment website, web store, or the content found within.
